Hooping and the Power of Play
Yes! Hooping for Adults.
More than just a child’s toy.
We now know the power that play has.
Play releases the endorphins that support our entire being.
Hooping is now seen in a wide range of uses from a stretch prop
to a personal growth practice.
There are many techniques beyond waist hooping
that can expand your hoop practice.
Also unravelling years of stuck energy, trauma,
& supporting us with physical injury & pain.
Hooping is Meditation in Motion
& when you tap into that flow state
Magic Happens !
I have been hooping for 18 years
there is no end,
it’s a circle.
As you get more skilled you can focus on the breath, do creative drills,
creating a sense of being present, spontaneous, building muscle tone and flexibility. You may find you have better spatial awareness and increased creativity
& experience a freeing sense of flow.
It is is one of the few sports that integrates both the right and left brain.
This is very powerful.
Often supporting us finding new hobbies
& new ways of creative expression.
Overflowing into your life choices and experiences as you become
more fine tuned to all your activities in a more balanced way.
Play isn’t just for children,
it is a forever lifestyle and is one of my daily tips for keeping me youthful.
I use a variety of flow props ( hoops , contact staff , fiber flies, flow wand )
for my daily movement, meditation and play practice.
In my mini retreats play is encouraged & often just arrives naturally.
It washes over us as a sense of lightness and there is no focus on an outcome.
Many people have forgotten what play even is in their adult years.
